How to Toggle the Full Daily Rollup Table

Learn how to use the Show/Hide Rollup button in AskBiz to view the complete daily cash flow table for the selected chart range.

Key Takeaways

  • The Show Rollup button below the daily chart expands a table listing every day in the selected range.
  • Each table row shows the date, inflow, outflow, and net for that day.
  • The rollup table is the fastest way to see all days at once without clicking individual bars.

Finding the Rollup Toggle Button

Step 1: Navigate to the /intelligence page in AskBiz. Step 2: Scroll down to the Daily Cash Chart section. Step 3: Below the chart (and below any open Day Detail panel) you will see a button labelled 'Show Rollup' or 'Show Daily Table'. This button is a toggle — clicking it once shows the table and clicking it again hides it.

What the Rollup Table Shows

When expanded, the rollup table displays a row for each day in the currently selected chart range. Each row contains four columns: Date (the calendar date), Inflow (total cash received that day), Outflow (total cash paid out that day), and Net (Inflow minus Outflow). Days where net is positive are displayed with the net value in green text; days where net is negative are shown in red. The rows are ordered from most recent date at the top to oldest at the bottom, or vice versa depending on your configuration.

How the Table Changes with Chart Range

The rollup table always reflects the active chart range. Step 1: With 7D selected, click Show Rollup. The table shows 7 rows — one per day. Step 2: Switch to 30D. The table updates immediately to show 30 rows. Step 3: Switch to 90D. The table expands to approximately 90 rows. You may need to scroll within the table section to see all rows. Step 4: The rollup table and the chart always stay in sync — the same data appears in both views.

Reading the Table vs Using the Chart

The chart provides a visual pattern overview — useful for spotting trends, outliers, and relative performance at a glance. The rollup table provides exact numbers for every day — useful when you need to find a specific day's figures, copy them for a report, or scan for days where outflow exceeded a threshold. Use the chart to identify interesting days visually, then use the rollup table to confirm the exact figures. You can also use the rollup table as a quick audit tool to check that all days in the range have recorded transactions and that no days have unexpectedly high outflows.

Hiding the Table

Step 1: When you are finished reviewing the rollup table, click the button again — it will now read 'Hide Rollup' or 'Hide Daily Table'. Step 2: The table collapses and the page returns to showing only the chart and the range buttons above it. Step 3: The table state (shown or hidden) does not persist between page sessions — each time you load the /intelligence page, the table starts in the hidden state.
