Our Transparency Commitment
AskBiz is committed to being transparent about law enforcement requests and government demands affecting our users. We publish an annual Transparency Report that covers:
- Number of law enforcement requests received, by jurisdiction (UK, EU, US, other)
- Number of requests complied with in full, partially, or rejected
- Number of users affected
- Number of national security requests (to the extent we are legally permitted to disclose)
- Number of content removal requests
- Number of account suspension or termination actions taken for policy violations
The first Transparency Report will cover calendar year 2026 and will be published at askbiz.co/transparency by Q1 2027.
Canary Statement
As of the date of this policy (April 2026), AskBiz has:
- Not received any national security letters or equivalent instruments
- Not received any court orders prohibiting disclosure of government requests
- Not been subject to any classified government demands for user data
We will update or remove this statement if circumstances change, to the extent we are legally permitted to do so. The absence of this statement in future versions of this policy may indicate that we have received such a demand and are legally prohibited from disclosing it.
