Carrier performance metrics#

Go to Logistics > Carrier Performance. The dashboard shows each carrier ranked by on-time delivery rate, average transit time, damage/loss rate, and cost per shipment. Filter by route to see which carrier performs best for specific corridors โ€” DHL might excel on Europe-to-Kenya while Aramex is faster for intra-Africa. Data accumulates over time from your actual shipments.

On-time delivery tracking#

AskBiz compares the estimated delivery date from the carrier quote against the actual delivery date from 17Track. The on-time rate shows what percentage of shipments arrived on or before the estimate. A carrier with 95% on-time is more reliable than one at 78%, even if the slower carrier is cheaper. Factor this into your carrier selection.

Cost analysis#

The cost view shows average cost per shipment, cost per kg, and total spend by carrier over your selected period. Compare unit costs between carriers for similar routes. AskBiz's Anomaly Detection flags if a carrier's average cost suddenly increases โ€” a signal to renegotiate rates or shift volume to a competitor.

Making carrier decisions#

Ask AskBiz: Which carrier gives me the best balance of cost and reliability for Nairobi to London shipments? The AI analyses your historical data and recommends based on your actual experience, not generic industry averages. This is particularly valuable in African logistics where carrier performance varies significantly by route.
