Viewing purchase history#

Open a customer profile and click Purchase History. You see every linked transaction in reverse chronological order โ€” date, items, total, payment method, and location if you have multiple branches. Filter by date range or product category. The summary at the top shows total lifetime spend, total transactions, average order value, and days since last purchase.

Using history at point of sale#

When a customer is linked to a sale, the cashier can tap View History to see their recent purchases. This is useful for reorder businesses โ€” a hardware store can see that a contractor bought 50 bags of cement last month and offer the same. For restaurants, it helps staff remember preferences. The history is view-only for cashiers โ€” they cannot edit past transactions.

Asking AskBiz about customers#

With purchase history data, you can ask AskBiz powerful questions: Who are my top 10 customers by lifetime value? Which customers have not returned in 60 days? What products do my VIP customers buy most? How has Customer X's spending changed over the last 6 months? The AI uses the full transaction history to answer with specific numbers.

Predicting behaviour#

AskBiz's churn prediction uses purchase history patterns to score each customer's likelihood of returning. A customer who bought weekly for 6 months and has not purchased in 3 weeks scores as high risk. The system suggests the best time and channel to reach out. This turns raw history into a retention tool.
