How to connect your data so Expansion Intelligence uses your actual sales patterns instead of sample data.
Why real data matters#
Without connected data, Expansion Intelligence shows sample candidates to demonstrate the feature. These aren't relevant to your business. Once you connect at least one data source, AskBiz generates recommendations based on your actual products, customers, and sales patterns.
Best data sources for expansion#
The most useful sources for Expansion Intelligence are:
- Shopify / WooCommerce / Amazon — product catalogue and sales history
- CSV upload — product list with sales, margins, and stock levels
- Stripe / PayPal — transaction patterns and customer behaviour
The more sales history you provide, the better AskBiz can identify purchase correlations and category gaps.
Connecting your data#
Go to Sources in the sidebar and connect your primary sales platform. Or go to Files and upload a CSV with your product data. Then return to Expansion and click Run new analysis to generate personalised candidates.
