KPI Cards on My Business
How the KPI cards on My Business work — revenue, margin, stock alerts, and top product powered by your uploaded data.
What the KPI cards show#
The row of cards at the top of My Business shows four key metrics:
- Total revenue — sum of the revenue/sales/amount column in your latest uploaded file
- Average margin — mean margin across all products in your data
- Low stock items — count of products with stock below 10 units
- Top product — the single product with the highest revenue
Where the data comes from#
KPI cards pull from your most recently uploaded file. AskBiz auto-detects which columns contain revenue, stock, and margin data based on the column names.
If no file has been uploaded, the cards show placeholder text prompting you to upload data.
Trend indicators#
Each card shows an up (↑) or down (↓) arrow:
- Revenue: always shows ↑ (indicates data is present)
- Margin: ↑ if average margin is above 20%, ↓ if below
- Low stock: ↓ if items are low, ↑ if everything is well-stocked
- Top product: always shows ↑
