Selecting Your Settlement Bank

Choose your settlement bank from Paystack's supported banks and configure account details for payouts.

How bank selection works#

When you set up Paystack and choose bank settlement, AskBiz fetches the list of available banks from Paystack's API for your country. Kenya shows Kenyan banks and M-Pesa options, Nigeria shows Nigerian banks (NUBANs), Ghana shows Ghanaian banks, and so on. The list includes both traditional banks and mobile money providers classified as banks.

Selecting your bank#

From the payment setup form, choose Bank Account as your settlement type. A dropdown appears with all active banks for your country. Search or scroll to find your bank. Enter your account number. Double-check the account number โ€” incorrect details delay settlements. For M-Pesa settlement (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda), choose M-Pesa and enter your phone number instead.

Supported countries and channels#

Nigeria: all NUBAN-compatible banks. Kenya: banks plus M-Pesa (Safaricom). Ghana: all Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement System banks. South Africa: major banks. Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda: processed via the Kenya channel with local mobile money support. The bank list updates automatically โ€” new banks added by Paystack appear in your dropdown without any action needed.
