Mobile Money Transaction Reports

Go to POS > Reports > Payments. The report shows transaction volume and value broken down by payment method — cash, card, M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, and any other configured methods. See what percentage of your revenue flows through mobile money versus other channels. Filter by date range, branch, or cashier.

Each mobile money provider charges a fee per transaction. AskBiz tracks the gross amount (what the customer paid), the fee (what the provider deducted), and the net amount (what you received). The Fees column shows your total payment processing cost. Compare providers to see which is most cost-effective for your transaction sizes.

The Settlement view shows expected versus actual settlement amounts by provider and date. If a provider is behind on settlement, you see the outstanding amount. This is critical for cash flow management — you need to know when money will hit your bank account, not just when the sale happened.
