Logging a Parcel for Dispatch
How to log a new parcel in AskBiz POS Logistics — tracking number, sender and receiver details, weight, and fee — with a camera photo at intake.
What you record at intake#
Logging a new parcel captures a tracking number, sender and receiver details, the parcel's weight, and the fee you're charging for the delivery. A photo of the parcel is captured at this stage too — useful evidence of its condition before it goes anywhere.
Where it goes next#
Once logged, a parcel is ready to be assigned to a truck and driver for dispatch — see Assigning Parcels to Trucks and Dispatching. It stays visible in your logistics records from intake all the way through to confirmed collection.
