Integrating Online Orders

Receive and manage orders from your website and online channels alongside dine-in orders.

Enabling online ordering#

Go to Restaurant > Online Orders and toggle the feature on. This generates a shareable ordering link you can embed on your website or share on social media. Customers browse your menu, select items with modifiers, choose dine-in pickup or delivery, and pay via card or mobile money. Orders flow directly into your KDS alongside walk-in orders.

Order management#

Online orders appear in a dedicated tab in Restaurant > Orders. Each order shows the customer name, order type, items, and payment status. Accept the order to send it to the kitchen, or reject it with a reason if you cannot fulfil it. Accepted orders appear on the KDS immediately. The customer receives a confirmation via WhatsApp or email.

Menu sync#

Your online menu mirrors your POS menu. When you mark an item as unavailable in the POS, it hides from the online menu automatically. Price changes sync instantly. If you want a different online-only menu โ€” for example excluding dine-in specials โ€” create a separate price rule under Menu > Pricing Rules for the online channel.

Payment and tips#

Online orders can be paid at checkout via Stripe, M-Pesa, or other configured payment methods. You can enable optional tipping at checkout. Tips are tracked separately in your reporting so you can distribute them to staff. Unpaid orders โ€” for example cash on delivery โ€” are flagged until marked as collected.
