Viewing POS Data in Your Dashboard and Reports
Your POS transactions feed directly into your AskBiz dashboard in real time — no export step, no separate dashboard builder. Here's where to actually see the numbers.
How POS data reaches your dashboard#
Every transaction processed through AskBiz POS is written to your central data store in real time. Your Overview tab pulls from the same store, so your numbers update within seconds of a sale completing. There is no export step, no CSV upload, and no overnight batch — the data flows automatically.
If you also sell online (Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, etc.), your POS data appears alongside online data in a unified view. This means you can see total revenue across all channels and compare in-store vs. online performance.
Where to actually look#
There's no separate "build a dashboard" step — your POS dashboard's Overview tab already shows revenue, transaction count, average basket, and top products as soon as you're selling. See Viewing Daily Sales and Revenue Stats for the full breakdown of what's there. If you want a metric that isn't shown directly, ask AskBiz AI Chat instead of hunting for a custom-dashboard builder — it can compute most things on the spot.
Sharing numbers with your team or accountant#
There's no built-in "share a view-only dashboard" link today. To get numbers to someone without giving them full AskBiz access, export the relevant data (see Exporting POS Transaction Data) and send it directly, or share a screenshot.
